Growing up Fauzia was always with his feet on the street. Fascinated by the different layers of society he learned to captivate the beauty of all of them. One could say it was here that he found his love for portraying the quintessence of life itself.
Spending all his time off traveling around the world he started to built up his photographic skills consistently. Wherever he went he spontaneously started to frame untaught images stirred by his love for the people & local cultures.
Fauzia always takes his time to soak up within confined communities and become part of these unique collectives. This integration gives him a portal to captivate images that are taken straight out of life.
Although very recognizable, Fauzia’s style is hard to define. Characterized by the incredible expressions from the people standing in front of the camera, the detail in each image is breath-taking. The astonishing fact is that these images are not scripted nor directed. They are an amalgamation of time, place & the soul itself.
This natural instinct of portraying the quintessence of life culminates in a divergent repertoire. Next to the series of his travel adventures, in 2019 Fauzia was asked to produce the cover shoot for the Belgian art house film “Trio”.
